Dr. Larry Crabb may be the most influential leader in Christian counseling during the past 50 years. He published his first article in Christianity Today in 1971. Since then, he has written 26 books, from “Basic Principles of Biblical Counseling,” published in 1975, to the most recent, “When God’s Ways Make No Sense,” published in 2018. The purpose of this conference will be to celebrate his amazing ministry through a consideration of his contributions to Christian counseling and the evangelical church by hearing from friends, colleagues, leaders in the field, former students and mentees, as well as Larry himself.

The conference will open with an evening session on Thursday, May 16, featuring Gary Moon. On Friday, we’ll hear from Russ Kosits, Mimi Dixon, Ed Welch, and Siang-Yang Tan, in addition to Larry Crabb.

Crabb’s influence as a teacher, writer, mentor and friend is broad. He has not been afraid to ask hard questions about what constitutes a biblically faithful approach to soul care. Please join us as we think together about Crabb’s impact upon Christian Psychology.
